Ariel Winter has lashed out at her estranged mother for sending her flowers.
The 'Modern Family' actress is currently in the custody of her 34-year-old sister Shanelle Grey after being removed from her mother Chrisoula 'Chrystal' Workman's care in October amid allegations of abuse and after her mother recently reached out to her, Ariel fired off an angry text message to her brother Jimmy Workman.
In the message, obtained by RadarOnline, she wrote: ""Tell mom to NEVER send me flowers again. That's retarded and INSANELY inappropriate. INSANELY. If she was thinking of me, she would've thought of my happiness in my life in the first place (sic)."
Ariel, 15, previously admitted she has never been happier and feels like a "normal" teenager since moving in with her sister.
She said: "My life is definitely more normal -- and that'll help me grow up like I'm supposed to.
"Sunday we have family dinner. It's just a different experience for me because I have more of a family life. I'm really happy.
"My sister is the most amazing woman I've ever met in my life. If I could be half the woman she is ... she's kind of who I want to be like.
"[Shanelle] supports me in everything I do, and so does my brother-in-law David. Both are kind of like my biggest supporters."
