Avril Lavigne says Chad Kroeger makes her feel beautiful.
The 'Girlfriend' singer fell for the Nickelback rocker last summer when he was helping her record her fifth studio album, and the couple are getting married this year.
Chad has many good points, but Avril says the best thing about him is the confidence he gives her and how he makes her feel.
She told HELLO! magazine: "I feel most beautiful when I'm around Chad. He makes me feel so beautiful, and I'm not one who really dresses up that much. I'm usually in the studio in regular, comfy clothes. I wear some pretty out-there designs. He likes my style - he thinks I'm cute."
The 28-year-old pop star is known for her punk look, but she insists her style is maturing and her evolving wardrobe is having an influence on her wedding dress.

Avril - who was previously married to Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley - explained: "My style has evolved so much in the past few years. I started more tomboy-ish, but now I am more comfortable being girly and wearing colour. I am comfortable in my own skin and with who I am."
Avril has already picked her wedding gown but is keeping the details under wraps, because she wants it to be a surprise for Chad.
