Bethenny Frankel is "thrilled" her custody battle with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy has finally been settled.
The former couple have been locked in a bitter legal battle for 16 months, but a huge weight has been lifted off their shoulders after they agreed to share parental duties over their four-year-old daughter Bryn in a New York courtroom on Tuesday (04.06.14).
A source told PEOPLE.com: "Bethenny never wanted to take it this far, never wanted this to be dragged out in court. She's thrilled this has settled."
The feelings appear to be mutual for Jason, who was fighting for joint custody all along, as his lawyer Bernard Clair insisted yesterday that his client was looking forward to sharing "joyous occasions" with Bethenny in the future.
He said: "Jason wishes Bethenny only the best of luck, and he looks forward to sharing with her all of the joyous occasions, milestones, and blessings that will be coming up in his daughter's future."
The pair filed for divorce in December 2012 but have since been arguing over the money made during their two-year marriage after Bethenny set up her company Skinnygirl.
