The former 'Loose Women' panellist admits she is getting "addicted" to the cosmetic treatment despite being "adamant" that she would never get it done, and now she is really keen to go under the knife for a facelift.

She said: "I've had this done because I still really want to have a facelift, but I'll do anything I can to avoid it. I think it's insane to volunteer for surgery - proper cutting-up-your-face surgery.

"I just want to try and look my best. I don't make enough effort. I look like an old tramp.

"I've had two sessions now and I think I'll just have it done little and often. Once you start, you've got to keep it up. It's addictive. I keep thinking, 'I could just have a little bit more there, a little bit more there, a little bit more there.' I've got to be careful not to go too far. I won't go too far ..."

The 56-year-old star, who got the all-clear from breast cancer in September, is set to undergo reconstructive surgery after having a mastectomy following her 2014 diagnosis because looking at herself has started to "bother" her.

Speaking to Bella magazine, she added: "I wasn't going to but it's odd ... when I had the mastectomy [in 2014], it didn't bother me at all.

"The longer I have to look at it, the more it bothers me. I thought: ,What shall I have done? Boobs or face?' And I've decided to have my breast done.

"So I've got to find an alternative [to surgery] to fix my face up."
