The couple announced their split after nine years of marriage earlier this week - revealing in a joint statement they had "lovingly chosen to separate" - and it is said they remain on good terms.

According to TMZ, the former lovebirds see it as business as normal for their professional joint ventures, including acting as executive producers for new YouTube red series 'Step Up: High Water'.

The report adds that the pair could be open to partnering up on future 'Step Up' projects - after meeting on the set of the 2006 dance movie - and "have no issues moving forward and working together".

Both Channing and Jenna took to their own Instagram accounts this week to confirm the split in identical statements, and insisted there were "no secrets nor salacious events" leading to their decision to call time on their marriage.

Their statement reads: "We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.

"We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.

"There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision - just two best friends realizing it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.

"We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly.

"We won't be commenting beyond this, and we thank you all in advance for respecting our family's privacy. Sending lots of love to everyone, Chan&Jenna (sic)"

Channing and Jenna, both 37, share a daughter named Everly, who will turn five on May 31.
