Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has confessed she will have to choose between starting a family or returning as a judge on next year's series of 'The X Factor'.

X Factor judge currently riding hing in the charts with her latest single  'I Don't Care' has admitted she needs time to "reflect" and isn't sure whether she will return to the competition next year or leave the series to start a family with her husband, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.

Her thoughts are simple - "Simon is Simon. He hasn't changed one bit. He's giving us a hard time.

Cheryl doesn't feel she could consider starting a family while balancing a music career, and an X Factor career would not be fair or practical - saying "You couldn't do them both. Next year is going to have to be the time where I reflect on what I've done and think about what I want to do. I'm not ruling it out.

"To think about going back next year at this point is too much. I put my heart and soul into it -- I'm not a half-hearted person.

"You feel like you're on the biggest rollercoaster. I can't even think about it right now. I need to find my balance, sit down, have a drink and rethink things."

On her return to the show and her spates with Simon Cowell she has said her main reason for a return was   "unfinished business" on the series and was keen to create more talent.

She felt the need to put a lid on it and though a lot of the focus goes to the judges a lot of the time It's ridiculous after all she genuinely want to create talent.

Cheryl says the tension on the panel between her and show boss Simon Cowell isn't put on for the cameras and claims the 55-year-old music mogul often makes "snide remarks" at her behind the scenes.

Her thoughts are simple - "Simon is Simon. He hasn't changed one bit. He's giving us a hard time. What people don't realise is what goes on backstage. There's a lot of snide remarks and competing." but thats Cowells drive to gain ratings and unearth genuine talent.

Audiences are not a pushover and must be treated with respect - they are the real judges to a acts success or failure not the panel.
