The former 'Hollyoaks' star will compete in the final of the show next weekend against Ore Oduba and Louise Redknapp, and he has thanked his dance partner for being "the best".

After Oti posted a photo of her impressive leap from the weekend's show, simply captioned "#trust", he replied on Twitter: "You trusted in what you built because you are the best. It's all you. Thank you form the bottom of my heart.

What a ride. X (sic)"

Oti has thanked Danny - who is engaged to actress Carley Stenson - for changing her life "forever".

She posted: "Dear Danny thank you for your passion, big heart and dedication. You have given an unforgettable season and You've changed my life forever (sic)"

And the professional dancer previously admitted she couldn't have asked for a better dance partner.

She wrote a few days ago: "I have been blessed with 12 amazing weeks with Danny I couldn't have had this journey with anyone better! He is the star with a great heart (sic)"

Danny's proud fiancee was reduced to tears by his and Oti's beautiful American Smooth at the weekend, and Carly has hailed the routine as "perfect".

She tweeted: "I really was so proud and moved by their perfect performance x x (sic)"

Meanwhile, Ore - who is partnered by Joanne Clifton - admitted the competition has also changed his life.

He excitedly posted: "Don't think this feeling will ever sink in. To everyone who voted YOU put us in the @bbcstrictly FINAL. You've changed our lives. Thank you.(sic)"

And Louise was thrilled to make the final three with Kevin Clifton after a very "tough" week.

She wrote on Instagram: "My toughest week so far and I'm so incredibly grateful for every one who voted for us @keviclifton and those who voted for us I will dance my socks of next week thank you (sic)"
