Courteney Cox is officially dating Brian Van Holt.
The 49-year-old actress, whose divorce from David Arquette was recently finalised following their split in 2010, is reportedly finally ready to go public with her new romance after being linked to her 'Cougar Town' co-star several times in the past.
A source told UsMagazine.com: "They've been going out for about six months."
The couple were recently spotted on a date at West Hollywood's Chi Lin restaurant, where a witness said they "acted like boyfriend and girlfriend" as they dined with Courteney's nine-year-old daughter with David, Coco.
The insider added: "(Coco) was extremely comfortable with Brian. She treated him like a dad or an uncle."
News of the former 'Friends' star's relationship comes two years after David accused her of having "an emotional affair" with Brian, 43, who plays her ex-husband on the ABC series.
Meanwhile, David, 41, has reportedly fallen off the wagon and recently started drinking again after splitting from his girlfriend Christina McLarty.
The 'Scream 4' star and Courteney have often insisted that they have become much closer friends since ending their marriage.
