David Arquette is reportedly jealous of his ex-wife Courteney Cox's new relationship.
The actor is allegedly feeling "replaced" since the former 'Friends' actress started dating her 'Cougar Town' co-star Brian Van Holt.
Though David - whose divorce from Courteney was finalised in May - has told friends he's happy for his former spouse he is actually struggling to come to terms with her romance.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "He's always been bad with hiding his true feelings, inside, it's killing him to see her with a new best friend. His status is taken over ... He feels replaced."
The 41-year-old star - who spent four weeks at the Betty Ford Clinic in January 2011 to be treated for alcoholism - has seemingly relapsed into drinking in recent weeks, and was spotted downing whisky at Popkins Tavern in Richmond, Virginia and later went to a strip club.
Courteney - who originally split from David in 2010 - and Brian have been dating for around six months and the couple were recently spotted on a date at West Hollywood's Chi Lin restaurant, where a witness said they "acted like boyfriend and girlfriend" as they dined with Courteney and David's nine-year-old daughter Coco.
