The 33-year-old actor - who is known for playing Kush Kazemi in the popular long-running soap - has admitted he thoroughly enjoys working with baby Arthur, his alter-ego's secret son with Stacey Branning (Lacey Turner), and comes away from the set pining after a child of his own.

He said: "Working with babies does make you feel broody - especially when they're as good as the ones who play Arthur. We've got some fantastic babies who steal most of the scenes. We rehearse without them, but it changes everything once their in your arms - you can't beat that feeling."

And the handsome star is set to spend more time with the little one at work now that Kush is adamant he'll be part of the baby's life following the departure of Martin Fowler (James Alexandrou), who thought he was the father of Arthur.

He told Inside Soap magazine: "Kush needs to fight for his son - that's what I would tell him to do if he were my friend. Regret is something you can do nothing about - you can't go back in time and change anything. When Arthur takes his first steps and says his first words, Kush has to be part of that."
