Denise Richards' father is engaged.
Irv Richards - who has been helping his daughter raise her three kids Sam, nine, Lola, eight and two-year-old Eloise along with her former husband Charlie Sheen's twins, Bob and Max, four - has found love online almost six years after losing his beloved wife Joni to cancer.
Denise told chat show host Chelsea Handler: "He did one of those dating sites. He's getting married. I think he could have maybe waited a little longer, but whatever.
"The engagement happened very quickly, but that's okay."
However, the couple are not planning a big wedding with Denise explaining she expects her dad to elope to Las Vegas.
When asked if she will be involved in planning the nuptials, Denise, 42, said: "I doubt it. I don't even know when it is! They're probably going to Vegas or something."
Denise has previously praised Irv for helping her take care of her daughters along with Charlie's children, while the twins' mother Brooke Mueller is in rehab.
Speaking about the difficulties of being a single mother while working on new ABC show 'Twisted', she said: "I'm very lucky that I can count on him when I have to leave town for a day or so. I think it's important to have grandparents be close to the children."
