The 'Rampage' actor was first rumoured to be feuding with his 'Fast and Furious' co-star in 2016 when he branded an unspecified castmate unprofessional and a "candya*s" and he's admitted they have confronted their issues and accept they have different "philosophies" when it comes to their work.

But while the 45-year-old actor wishes the 50-year-old star "all the best", he admitted he still bears a grudge and hinted he may not appear in the ninth installment of the 'Fast and Furious' franchise, which is scheduled for release in 2020, a year after he and Jason Statham release their spin-off film.

He told Rolling Stone magazine: "Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer.

"And what I came to realise is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating. It took me some time, but I'm grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not...

"Right now I'm concentrating on making the spin-off as good as it can be.

"I wish [Diesel] all the best and I harbour no ill will there, just because of the clarity we have. Actually, you can erase that last part about 'no ill will.' We'll just keep it with the clarity."

Dwayne also confirmed speculation he and Vin didn't shoot any scenes together on eighth movie, 'Fate of the Furious', even though their characters, Hobbs and Toretto, shared a key moment.

He said: "That is correct. We were not in any scenes together."
