Emma Stone is in negotiations to star in 'Cabaret.'

The 25-year-old actress is in talks to replace Michelle Williams as Sally Bowles in the Broadway revival of the musical once she leaves the production in November, according to 'Entertainment Tonight.'

The 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' star was attached to the role in the Roundabout Theater Company production, which opened in the Spring, last year, but she was forced to decline the job due to conflicting schedules.

Michelle has extended her role as the flirtatious showgirl, who steals the heart of an American writer visiting the Kit Kat Klub in Berlin in the 1930s, until November 9 and it is believed Emma will take over until the production wraps up at Studio 54 on January 4.

However, it is thought there is a strong possibility that the show will be given an extension.

Meanwhile, Michelle, who currently resides in New York, is planning to move back to Los Angeles after her stint in the classic 1966 Kander and Ebb musical comes to an end with her eight-year-old daughter, Matilda, because she wants to take advantage of more acting opportunities in Hollywood.

A source said previously: "Michelle's business team sees this as an absolute necessity to ratchet up her box office bona fides."
