Greer Grammer feared she'd become the laughing stock of the internet at this year's Golden Globe Awards.
The actress handed out trophies at last night's ceremony and was careful to select "sturdy" shoes to minimise the risk of a fall.
Speaking to Acess Hollywood she said of her footwear: "I gotta make sure they're sturdy, they can handle the stage.
"They're ready to make a montage of me just falling and falling and falling and falling, just over and over again. It's something you have dub-stepped to a song of something."
She'd even spent hours walking and practicing in her shoes ahead of the show, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
"I will not [fall. I've been practicing. We had rehearsals yesterday and I walked in my heels and I think I've got it down."
This wasn't the only thing she needed to practice, as she realised last week just how heavy the trophies were.
Writing on Instagram she said: "I had the BEST time at the Miss Golden Globe bloggers luncheon today! AND I finally got to hold my first Golden Globe!!! (Fun fact: they're a LOT heavier than I imagined!!) Got to get in some practice of holding them before the big day on Sunday! #MissGG #MissGoldenGlobe #moetmoment (sic)"
