Harry Styles has been impressing countless people across the UK during his 2022 arena tour and now, the singer has done something perhaps even more memorable than all of that, by helping a young male fan come out as gay, live on stage.

The 28-year-old performer took hold of the supporter's sign, which asked him to "help me come out", before parading a rainbow pride flag across the stage and saying to the fan: "Congratulations, you are a free man."

Before making that declaration, he joked: "When I wave this flag above my head, you will officially be gay my boy."

This marks the second public coming out with Styles' help, as he spotted a young girl with a sign last year (2021) at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

He asked the girl at the time if there was "anyone particular you'd like to come out to?", before raising the pride flag and declaring her officially 'out'.

Styles' gigs at Wembley Arena come before he moves onto Dublin on Wednesday (June 22nd, 2022) before moving on to wider European locations including Germany, Sweden, Denmark, France and Austria.

He'll then tour across north America from August 2022 before moving into Latin America from November 2022 and finally, Australia and New Zealand at the start of 2023.

The tour is running alongside the recent release of Styles' third full-length solo album, Harry's House. Critically-acclaimed and beloved by fans, it’s been described as “more serious” than his previous releases and by many as his best work to-date.

His busy year will also see the release of the film My Policeman, in which he plays a gay policeman in 1950s Brighton who marries a woman but, continues a relationship with a male museum curator. Judging by the trailer, it looks to be quite the feature. You can watch it for yourself below:

With such an incredible upward trajectory, it’s going to be very exciting to see where Styles’ career goes next.
