The 18-year-old son of Katie Price has spoken out in support of his mum's petition to help expose internet trolls, which calls for new regulations that'll require social media users to verify their identity before opening an account.

In an Instagram video, Harvey said: "Track A Troll ... because people are horrible to me."

Katie, 42, has also encouraged her followers to throw their support behind the campaign.

The TV star is determined to fight back against the trolls who have abused Harvey - who has a number of disabilities, including blindness, Prader-Willi syndrome and ADHD - over the years.

She said: "Keep signing the petition Track A Troll. Not only will it help me getting trolls to stop trolling Harvey but also anyone out there who is being trolled."

Katie later warned: "If you are a troll we will find you."

Katie has urged the government to make Track a Troll a law in the UK.

She thinks it would force the big social media companies to operate in a more transparent way, thereby reducing the amount of online trolling.

She previously explained: "The future is online. But people are committing suicide, and trolling causes mental health [issues]. So, I think there should be some kind of law where perpetrators should be IDed."

In 2017, Katie launched a digital petition calling for the introduction of a register of offenders.

The campaign received widespread support and she described trolling as a "major problem" at the time.

She said: "People of all ages and background suffer every day, including my family - especially my son Harvey.

"This abuse includes racism, homophobia, body shaming and a whole range of other hate speech."

The petition led to the UK government launching an enquiry into online abuse and it concluded that self-regulation of social media had failed.
