A 'Heathers' TV show is in development.

TV Land is rebooting the 1989 black comedy - which starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater - for the small screen, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The original film was written by Daniel Waters and directed by Michael Lehmann and featured four teenage girls -- three named Heather -- in a clique at a fictional Ohio High School.
TV Land's reboot will focus on three former outcasts who are now popular, Heather McNamara, a black lesbian, overweight Heather Chandler and gender-queer Heather Duke, known as Heath.
Winona, 44, was 15 when she filmed the role and previously revealed that she almost didn't get the part, for a number of reasons.
Initially the director didn't think the brunette beauty was pretty enough for the role of Veronica.
He said: "I was like, 'The girl from 'Lucas'? She's just not attractive." Winona explained: "You have to understand, at the time, I didn't look that different from my character in 'Beetlejuice'. I was very pale. I had blue-black dyed hair. I went to Macy's at the Beverly Center and had them do a makeover on me."
And Winona's agent also didn't want her to take on the role.
She said: "My agent at the time ¬literally got on her knees and begged me not to do [the movie. She had her hands together, and she goes, 'You will never. Work. Again.' We parted ways later."
