The 'Social Network' star feels lucky that he got through the coronavirus pandemic and really enjoyed being able to volunteer as he feels it is important to "stay busy".

Speaking to the New York Post's Page Six column, he said: "It passed for me in a positive and active way. It was great for me to be volunteering because it’s important to stay busy.

"I'm only anxious during moments of great calm. When the world is anxious around me, it cancels out mine and I’m immediately at ease. I think it’s the nature of a lot of anxious people, you’re so worried about things that are most likely never going to happen that it increases the amount of anxiety you have because the world doesn’t seem to agree with you."

Meanwhile, Jesse previously revealed he worries about not having anything to do.

The 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' star said: "I never know what I'm going to do but I try to do everything. But mainly out of a fear of not having anything to do, rather than enjoying the thing that I'm pursuing. I'm like a freelance person so I try to do a million different things so that once something falls through the cracks I'm still busy. I'm self absorbed but I'm just not interesting enough to occupy my full day. So I have to be other people absorbed as well."
