The ‘Leave Before You Love Me’ hitmaker is set to hit the road with his bandmates and brothers Kevin and Nick Jonas for their ‘Remember This’ tour in August this year, which will mark the first time they’ve played in front of live audiences since the COVID-19 pandemic hit early last year.

The tour will mean Joe won’t be able to see his wife Sophie or their 10-month-old daughter Willa as often as he would like, but he already has a plan in place to make sure he isn’t away from home for too long.

Speaking to E!’s ‘Daily Pop’ about how he and Sophie balance their hectic work schedules, he said: “It’s definitely a new experience now that we’re all back [to normal]. I’m going on tour, she’s starting a project, so it’s going to be a lot of flying back and forth on days off, for me at least. But I’m excited.

“I haven’t travelled in a long time, I haven’t been on the road in a while, so just to get back out there and feel safe … that’s what it’s all about.

“We’ll figure it out. I’m here right now where she’s staying. It’s kind of new territory, you get to experience a new city all the time which I don’t mind.”

Meanwhile, Joe recently said he feels “thankful and grateful” to have been able to spend time at home with his family amid the pandemic.

He explained: "It’s been amazing. It's been forced time at home - I'm always on the go, I'm always moving and traveling and touring. To be in one place for a solid amount of time and having my feet on the ground and be with my family, my immediate family, is time I don't think I'll get back. I'm so thankful and grateful."
