Kate Ferdinand is feeling “nervous” about bringing a new baby into her household.

The 29-year-old star and her husband Rio Ferdinand – who already has Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and nine-year-old Tia from his marriage to late wife Rebecca – is due to give birth very soon and, as, a “bit of a worrier”, she’s concerned about how the family will carry on their daily routines while juggling the needs of a newborn.
She told OK! magazine: “I’m a bit of a worrier. It’s quite a busy household as it is – we’ve got a lot going on,
There’s a lot of horse riding, football, everything. So it makes me a little bit nervous – having a baby and how he’s going to fit in.”
But Kate isn’t worried about her stepchildren feeling left out by the new arrival.
She said: “I’m not worried about giving them the love or them feeling left out. We’re all so close…
“It’s really important for me that all the children are treated the same and they all have the same amount of love, care and attention.”
The former ‘TOWIE’ star is pleased the children are keen to help out with their new sibling.
She said: “I think all the kids are really excited and I’ve got three little helpers, which is quite lucky,”
And the brood have also been involved in choosing a name for their half-brother.
Kate said: “We have a couple of potential [names] but we're just waiting to see what he looks like when he comes out and if he suits them.
"We discuss everything as a family.
“There's one favourite name, but the more I say it, the more I go off it! So we've decided not to talk about it for a while."
