The 42-year-old television personality is set to tie the knot with the former ‘Love Island’ hunk, after he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, 10 months into their relationship.

And Katie - who has been engaged seven times before and married three times - has insisted she wants their special day to be an intimate affair with just friends and family.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: "I want the focus on Carl as much as me, this is his special day too. No wall-to-wall celeb faces or opening-of-an-envelope guests, or people we don’t know.

"It'll be about us, Carl and our family, coming together as one."

Despite not planning to have famous faces at their nuptials, Katie says it won't be just any wedding.

She continued: "We have lots of ideas. It won't be a bog-standard affair or boring.

"Put it this way, the wedding I want, if you googled it, no one has done it before."

The former glamour model vowed to make an "entrance and a half" when she arrives in style.

She continued: "Who said I'll be walking down the aisle? I'm not revealing anything but, put it this way, it will be an entrance and a half!"

Confirmed guests include Katie's kids Harvey, 18, whom she has with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, with first husband Peter Andre, and Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, with Kieran Hayler, and her terminally ill mum Amy.

She added: "Mum loves Carl and she knows I will be OK now. It's given her peace of mind.

"That means the world to me, that Carl brings that peace to Mum. I love him unconditionally for that."

Carl recently insisted their nuptials will be very different to the lavish Cinderella-themed celebration Katie had when she married her first husband Peter, her second Las Vegas wedding to Alex Reid, and the Bahamas beach ceremony she and Kieran had.

He explained: “I promise you it will be different and quirky. It will be nothing like she’s ever done before.

“I wanted to do something different because I am different. This is the final wedding for her now, and this one is for keeps.”

The couple has also discussed having children together, with Carl insisting he’d like to have two kids with his future wife.

He said: “We’re not being careful, we’re just letting nature take its course and we’re having a lot of fun trying in the meantime.

"We’d like to have two children quite close together. Her other kids are quite close and that makes a better bond.

“I’m close to my sister and we’re 18 months apart.

“In five years’ time, I see us married with our own kids, in our own house, with Porsches outside. We’ll have to buy a bigger house – we’d need an eight-bed!”
