The 'We Were' singer is very proud of his wife after it was announced this week she had made the Golden Globe shortlist in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or a Motion Picture Made for TV category, and also received a SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series, both for her work in 'The Undoing'.

Alongside a picture of Nicole, Keith wrote on his Instagram story: "Congrats babygirl on the tip of the hats from the @goldenglobes and @sagawards for your 'skills on fire' performance in @undoinghbo (sic)"

The 53-year-old actress has hailed the recognition a "beautiful honour" and also praised her co-star Hugh Grant on his recognition in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series category.

She wrote in an Instagram Story on Thursday (04.02.21) after the SAG Award nominations were announced: "Wow, what a morning!!!! Thank you to all of my @sagaftra friends and peers!! And to Hugh, my screen husband and partner in crime (and fellow nominee!) This is a beautiful honor and I am so, so grateful for the recognition from my fellow actors.(sic)"

And after the Golden Globe nominations were announced on Wednesday (03.02.21), she said in a statement: "Thank you to my wonderful friends at the HFPA!!! To wake up in Sydney to 4 nominations for our show is an incredible way to start the day.

"This has been the journey of a lifetime -- from David E. Kelley’s imagination to Susanne Bier’s visionary direction of every episode to Hugh Grant (!!!), Donald Sutherland (!!!), Edgar Ramirez, Lily Rabe, Noah Jupe, and Noma Dumezweni to audiences who embraced 'The Undoing' all over the world and now to this… these Golden Globe nominations mean more than you could ever imagine."

Meanwhile, Hugh joked his murderous role had paid off for him.

He said in a statement after the SAG Award nominations were released: "Incredibly kind of my fellow actors to nominate me. What a lovely week. I must kill more often. Extremely pleased for Nicole. Richly deserved."
