The 44-year-old star revealed this week she is taking a step back but made sure to go out in style as she tweeted a video of "all the moments" she won't get to share with her followers while she's away.

She wrote: "I love you guys. But it's time for me to take a little break from the socials.

"I know there's gonna be a lot of special moments unfolding in the next few weeks so I put together a video of all the moments that we would have shared together this month. Miss you already."

As well as early birthday messages to the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Mariah Carey and Eva Longoria, Kerry shared a video compilation celebrating plenty of other milestones ahead of time.

Grabbing a basketball, the 'Scandal' actress said: "Happy March Madness! Can you believe the game last night?"

Posing with a glass of red wine and some popcorn, she added: "Today is National Popcorn Lover's Day. Also known as Saint Olivia Pope Day. Cheers!"

Kerry also dressed up in a leprechaun hat and shamrock necklace to mark St. Patrick's Day, and lit a match for the upcoming one year anniversary of her show 'Little Fires Everywhere'.

She even got her dad Earl Washington on board for a funny cameo as she asked him to tell everyone a dad joke.

He quipped: "How excited was the gardener about spring? So excited he wet his plants!"

At the end of the video, before revealing a vintage shot of Kamala Harris on her hoodie, Kerry added: "It's Women's History Month! Shout out to one of my favourite women making history."

Although she didn't reveal why she was stepping back from social media, 'The Prom' star recently admitted she doesn’t have “as much time” as she would like to have to herself in each day, but is doing her best to leave gaps in her busy schedule where she can put herself first.

Asked by People magazine if she’s making time for self-care, she said: “I am trying to figure out how to maintain a bit of it. I find that I don't have as much time as I would think that I have. A lot of us are doing more than we've ever done before while simultaneously being home more than we've ever been before. I'm definitely experiencing some Zoom fatigue.”
