Rosemary Patricia 'Pebe' Sebert has accused the 42-year-old music producer - real name Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald - of the systematic mental torture of her daughter and she cannot believe a judge ignored Kesha's accusations of his sexual abuse a decade ago and denied her injunction to break her contract with Kemosabe Records, which he runs for Sony Music-owned RCA.

Speaking exclusively to Billboard magazine, Pebe alleged: "She was a prisoner. He almost destroyed us.

"It was like someone who beats you every day and hangs you from a chain and then comes in and gives you a piece of bread. Luke would say, 'You look nice today,' and send her into hysterics of happiness because she was programmed to expect nothing but abuse."

According to the 60-year-old songwriter, both she and the 'Tik Tok' hitmaker were trapped by the six-album agreement with the Grammy-nominated producer - who was accused of drugging and raping the star in October 2014 - because Kesha was desperate to become a successful artist.

Pebe said: "I wanted Kesha to come forward a long time ago and end this relationship with Dr. Luke immediately after the rape. But if she wanted to have a shot at the music business, she had no choice but [to work with him].

"Kesha's allowed to work with another producer. But Luke gets to approve them. He gets to approve of anyone she works with. He has final say over everything."

Kesha has received much support from the pop community with Taylor Swift - who donated $250,000 to assist in financing the legal battle - Lady Gaga, Adele and Demi Lovato all publicly championing her cause.

It has been reported that Sony Music is considering terminating its partnership with Dr. Luke due to the amount of public pressure mounting following her allegations against him.
