Khloé Kardashian felt she was the last person to find out about Caitlyn Jenner's transition.

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star admits she found it "hard" when her stepfather - who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition - waited for the cameras to be around before she announced she would be transitioning.

She said: "Well, I had a hard time because I found out on camera. Like, while we were filming, and I felt like we kept asking him, 'Bruce, what's going on, we're hearing all these rumours?' And he kept telling us one thing, but really he knew he was transitioning and wouldn't be honest with us.

"So we felt like we were kind of the last to know so that was hard for us. Especially me. I defended him for so long or whatever. So that was hard for me and then now I'm fully ok with it, but I think the biggest part for me was understanding that Bruce is totally separate than Caitlyn."

And whilst Caitlyn insisted to her daughters and stepchildren that she would "always be their dad", the 31-year-old television personality admits she has had to come to terms with the fact her father is gone forever.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she added: "And he liked to tell us that, 'Oh I'm always going to be Bruce. I'll always be your Dad, I'm just gonna be...' and I think he meant that. I don't think Bruce knew fully that when he would be Caitlyn I'm sure - no one knows what's going to happen we're all doing this for the first time ...

"So now that we know that he's, Caitlyn, is not Bruce. They're two separate people and kind of mourn the loss of Bruce now I'm fine with everything."
