The 37-year-old reality star and her husband Kanye West welcomed their third child, a baby girl, earlier this week after she was born via surrogate mother, and whilst the star is overjoyed at her new arrival, she wants to make sure the rest of her brood - daughter North, four, and son Saint, two - don't feel left out.

A source told People magazine: "Kim wants to make sure North and Saint have a lot of extra attention and feel included as well. It's a big deal for everyone to have a newborn in the family."

It comes after Kim was said to be "concerned" at how her eldest child North would react to having a younger sibling around, and sources claimed she was going to let North name her new sister.

A source said: "Kim and Kanye are very concerned about how North is going to react to the new baby. It's especially challenging because they're using a surrogate so they can't even really prepare her.

"Kim has called on a parenting expert to get advice on what to do to avoid sibling rivalry this time around and one of the suggestions was to let North help name the baby so she feels more invested."

North has notoriously feuded with her younger brother in the past, and Kim previously said she hopes the tot grows out of her dislike for Saint soon.

She said: "I don't know if it's 'cause she's the older sister ... I don't know what it is; I thought it was a phase. She does not like her brother. It's so hard for me.

"I thought it was like, 'OK, a couple months; she's just warming up to it.' She got so jealous when I would breastfeed and all that stuff. Now, the phase isn't going away!"
