The 52-year-old pop star has been forced to put her concert plans on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Kylie can't wait to return to touring and has predicted she'll be overcome with emotion when she takes to the stage.

She shared: "It will be emotional! I love, love, love touring anyway - I think we’re all acknowledging and understanding how much we miss those things.

"So I imagine by the time I can actually get back on stage and share that experience with people, there will probably be a tear or two of pure joy and thankfulness."

The 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' hitmaker also insisted she's retained her enthusiasm for the music business.

Kylie - who released her self-titled debut album back in 1988 - still loves making and performing new music.

She told BBC Radio 2's 'Zoe Ball Breakfast Show': "I truly love being in the studio and creating."

Meanwhile, Kylie previously admitted that "things have started to make sense" since she turned 50.

The chart-topping pop star insisted her outlook and approach to life has evolved over time.

She said: "I’m more content. Some things have started to make sense. I mean, you accept it or you don’t. And I think the best way to accept it is with open arms.

"I say yes or no much quicker than I used to, which is probably good for everyone else as well."

And despite the ups and downs she's experienced in her career, Kylie remains hugely appreciative of her success.

The singer - who previously starred in the Australian soap 'Neighbours' - said: "I honestly feel like the luckiest girl."
