The 33-year-old rapper took to Instagram to share his gran's stunned reaction as she explored the property.

Meek told his followers: "I did this for my dad and my Grandmom."

The star showed off the numerous rooms in the smart property after explaining that his gesture was his way of "looking out" for his grandmother, who was visibly surprised by Meek's act of generosity.

Other members of the family can be heard saying 'Welcome home' as she walks through the property with a beaming grin.

The rapper – whose real name is Robert Williams – emerges on the staircase and is heard asking 'Do you like it grandma?'

Meek's grandmother tells him that the home is "unreal" and he responds by saying, "Appreciate you, grandma."

The 'Going Bad' rapper is also seen sitting on a bed as his grandmother reclines with a drink in a chair.

Meek says: "Loyalty is not just a word. Kick ya feet up Grandmom. My dads mom. I'm Prada myself! Ya definition of real not the same as mines I get it! (sic)"

The star recently faced a backlash for controversial lyrics in his track 'Don't Worry', which references the death of basketball legend Kobe Bryant in a helicopter crash last year.

In the song, Mill says: "This b**** I’m f*****’ always tell me that she love me, but she ain’t ever showed me. Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe."

Kobe's widow wrote on social media: "Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period.

"I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this.

"If you are a fan, fine, there's a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact."
