Billy Ray Cyrus says Miley Cyrus is "feeling much better."

The 21-year-old singer was hospitalised on April 15 after suffering a severe allergic reaction to Cephalexin, an antibiotic prescribed for the flu, and was forced to reschedule a number of 'Bangerz' world tour dates, but is finally ready to get back on stage.

Her father told reporters backstage at the iHeart Radio Music Awards on Thursday (01.05.14), where he picked up the Best Lyrics prize for her song 'Wrecking Ball' on her behalf: "She's doing much better, thank you for asking. You know, right now we're just getting her back, healthy. She had an allergic reaction to antibiotics. She's feeling much, much better. The tour resumes this weekend, and the 'Bangerz' train is back on track."

The 'Adore You' hitmaker will take to the stage in London next Tuesday night (06.05.14) for the first time since being hospitalised.

Miley rescheduled the final six dates of the US leg of her tour, and the first two dates of the European leg after her doctors advised her not to travel.

Earlier this week, the star admitted her health issues had really scared her.

She said: "I was on this medicine for five days and everything was all good and on the sixth day, I just woke up, it was so scary. I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn't know I was really scary allergic to.

"I couldn't breathe and my skin - everything - was going insane."
