The former 'Glee' actress released her tome 'Sorry Not Sorry' on Tuesday (13.09.16) and has been dropping into book stores to add her signature to a number of copies of her memoir.

"Just stopped by the @target on Beverly Blvd #BeverlyConnectionTarget and signed 16 copies of #sorrynotsorry!!

"Going to be at the @target on Santa Monica Blvd at 6p today to sign a few more! #westhollywoodtarget

"Just left @BookSoup heading to @target on Santa Monica Blvd then @TheGroveLA!!! (sic)"

The 'Devious Maids' star - who has 11-month-old son Josey with husband Ryan Dorsey - couldn't hide her excitement that it had finally came round to publication day for her book, and urged her fans to pick up a copy.

She tweeted: "Today is the day! Couldn't be happier and more excited. Been waiting for this moment for a very long time! #sorrynotsorry go get that s**t!!(sic)"

Among the revelations Naya makes in the book is that she had an abortion in 2010 and she was pleased her autobiography gave her the opportunityt o speak out and tell the truth.

She said: "As a woman, you're not really allowed to talk about it and it shouldn't be that way when the statistics are what they are -- which is, like, almost everyone you know has gone through something like this.

"My job ever since I was a kid has been to be a storyteller. And that's how I feel about this book: I'm finally getting able to tell my truth."

And she admitted her termination was one of the "main reasons" why she agreed to write her life story.

She told Buzzfeed: "One of my main reasons for wanting to write the book was because no one ever talks about [abortion] and I think that's unfair. The stigma is insane. I can't even begin to tell you."

She jokingly added: "I liken it to when people said it was wrong to talk about being gay. And then the first couple people did -- hopefully I'm praised like them."
