The ‘Forever Ain’t Enough’ singer knows it would be a huge challenge to scale the world’s highest peak but is willing to push himself with training to be in the right place to tackle the mountain.
He said: “I would love to climb Mount Everest. It takes around three months to climb it, so it would be a lot of training and a lot of commitment and time. But I'd so be up for that."
However, Ronan – who has three children, Jack, 21, Missy, 19, and Ali, 15, with first wife Yvonne, and Cooper, three, and seven-month-old Coco with spouse Storm - may struggle to fit in the training as he admitted his biggest parenting challenge is to make sure he has enough “time” for all five of his kids.
Asked his biggest parenting challenge, he said: "I guess time is the most challenging thing. Making sure you have time for all of them."
The ‘Life is a Rollercoaster’ hitmaker has enjoyed being at home more amid the coronavirus pandemic because he’s seen so much of his baby daughter’s milestones.
He said: For me, its been a blessing to be home. Little Coco was born four days into lockdown and it was a unique time.
“But I've never spent that much time at home in one run, so to be there for every nappy change, every time she woke up, and every bath was just beautiful.
"It was awesome to be part of that."
The former Boyzone singer admitted he’s both a “cool” and “embarrassing” dad and though his kids are supportive of his career, he doesn’t make the sort of music they want to listen to.
He said: “"I can be cool and embarrassing. I guess some days [the music] is cool and some days it isn't.
“That's the thing with kids isn't it? They change all the time.
"My older kids are into urban music, hip hop and rap, so my music wouldn't necessarily be their thing. But they're still brilliant about it.
"They give me their critique on my songs on the album and I love it.
"I involve them all the way."
