Sharon Osbourne thinks the stage for 'America's Got Talent' is dangerous and supports her former makeup artist Jude Alcala, who has filed a lawsuit claiming he was permanently injured on the show.

The 'X Factor' judge has blasted NBC for allegedly ignoring her former makeup artist, Jude Alcala, who is suing the network because he claims he was seriously injured on the set of the reality TV series in Los Angeles.

Asked if she thinks NBC should take responsibility, Sharon told gossip website TMZ.com: "They better be. The guy has been sick for over a year. I think it's a disgrace that they've ignored him.

"He has had an operation but he's been in and out of work for the last 18 months. It's the worst stage in the entire world.

"Some guy designed a stage set with a hole in the middle. Somebody has to pay the price."

Jude, who did makeup on the show in 2012, including on former judge Sharon, has filed a lawsuit against NBC and the show's producers Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia, claiming he broke his femur and damaged his shoulder after he accidentally stepped into the hole in the stage last June and fell six feet.

The makeup artist is suing for negligence and more, demanding unspecified damages.

Heidi Klum, Howard Stern, Howie Mandel and Mel B were judges on the most recent series of 'America's Got Talent'.

NBC has yet to comment.
