Simon Cowell reportedly asked for colonic irrigation in a massage clinic.
The 54 year old music mogul is said to have asked his limo driver to drop him off at a colonic cleansing centre for the procedure, where a patient's colon is flushed out through their bottom, but was instead left looking red-faced when he asked for the treatment at a reflexology centre.
Employees at the facility are said to have got the giggles when Simon asked: "Am I in the right place for a colonic?"
The 'X Factor' and 'Britain's Got Talent' judge, who is also a fan of intravenous vitamin injections, hand waxes and sheep placenta facials, reportedly looked puzzled when he walked into the centre in Chelsea, in London's West End, where they specialise in foot massages.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "He took a look around, checking out the foot maps. Staff disguised sniggers when he then asked about his colonic appointment. One quietly pointed out he was in a reflexology clinic and the place he needed was up the road."
Simon, who has four-month-old son Eric with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, was said to be looking for Cosmetech, a clinic which charges £97 for the process and he once said of the treatment, "It's so cleansing - and it makes my eyes shine brighter".
