Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman's friends are already spoiling their unborn son and the 'X Factor' boss has admitted they received enough presents for 100 babies at her baby shower last weekend.
The 'X Factor' boss admitted the couple, who are expecting their first child together in February, received enough gifts for a 100 babies at the socialite's baby shower at his mansion in Beverly Hills last Sunday (08.12.13).
The 54-year-old British star told People.com that he arrived home to find stacks of presents, saying: "There were a lot of them. There were a lot of clothes. It looks like I'm having 100 kids right now, there are so many."
The music mogul hired a party planner to organise an elegant English tea party for his girlfriend, 36, and her guests including his former fiancee, Mezhgan Hussainy, and ex-girlfriend, Terri Seymour, but he did not attend the event.
He said: "I wasn't there. I wasn't invited, literally."
Simon can't wait to become a father and would approve of his son entering the music industry when he is older.
He joked: "As long as he signed a lifelong recording contract with me, I'd be all right with that. No options."
A guest at Lauren's baby shower previously revealed the couple are planning to name their baby boy after Simon.
The insider said: "It shouldn't come as a shock, but Simon and Lauren really seem to be planning to name their son Simon!
"There were baby clothes and little games all personalised with the name 'Simon' for the baby."
The source added: "From what everyone -- including Lauren -- was saying, they are 100 percent naming their son Simon. Initials for baby Simon were everywhere."
