Johnny Depp could drop damages claim against Amber Heard
Lawyers on behalf of Johnny Depp have floated a deal to Amber Heard which could spare her from paying the millions she now owes her ex-husband in damages, following her loss against him in their defamation trial.
Ben Chew and Camille Vasquez said in one of their first interviews since the conclusion of the trial, that the $8.35 million in damages Heard has been ordered to pay could be dropped, if Heard foregoes an expected appeal against the jury's decision.
"This was about restoring his reputation and he has done that," Chew said. "We have to be careful what we say, but this was about Mr Depp's reputation; that's what it was about for him".
Strictly’s Karen Hauer ties the knot
Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen Hauer has exchanged wedding vows with Jordan Wyn-Jones, in an intimate ceremony in Hampshire on June 7th, 2022.
Some of Hauer's fellow Strictly stars were in attendance, including Janette Manrara and Luba Mushtuk.
Speaking to HELLO! about the ceremony, Hauer said it was "so special" to bring their loved ones together: “I haven't seen my family for the last two years so it's really touching to bring them here and be able to share this amazing moment with them".

Eagle-eyed fans spotted that Premier League footballer Jack Grealish has liked at least one of her pictures on Instagram, in which she is wearing a tight swimsuit leaving little to the imagination.
Grealish is said to have started 'liking' pictures of the bombshell before his team, Manchester City lost out in the Champions League against Real Madrid.
