Taylor Swift has donated $100,000 to the family of a woman who was shot dead at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade.

The 'Anti-Hero' hitmaker - who is dating the team's tight end Travis Kelce - made two $50,000 donations and expressed her "deepest sympathies" after 44-year-old DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan lost her life on Wednesday (14.02.24) at a mass shooting in Union Station, Kansas City, Missouri, while the team were celebrating their victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the flagship NFL game on Sunday (11.02.24).
Lisa's loved ones had set up a GoFundMe page to provide "vital financial support" to her family, including her husband and two children, as they "process this unthinkable tragedy".
A message on the platform, which aimed to raise $75,000, read: "“his fund has been set up to benefit the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan. Lisa was celebrating the Chiefs’ Super Bowl Victory parade when senselessly killed. She is survived by two children and her husband of 22 years.
“She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many. We ask that you continue to keep her family in your prayers as we grieve the loss of her life. This fund will help provide vital financial support to her family as they process this unthinkable tragedy. Any amount is appreciated.”
Taylor made two donations eight minutes apart.
She wrote: “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss.”
Her representative confirmed to Variety that the donations were genuine.
The attack saw 21 others injured, more than half of whom were under 16, and many with life-threatening injuries. One of three hospitals receiving patients following the tragedy said three had been discharged, one was in a stable condition and two were in a critical condition but improving.
Three armed suspects have since been detained.
