The 34-year-old reality TV star admits he could relate to the "hate" the 'End Game' hitmaker suffered from social media trolls after the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star seemingly labelled the singer a "snake" on Twitter, after Kanye fell out with Taylor over the lyrics in the rapper's 'Famous' track in 2016.

But Spencer became an even bigger supporter of the 28-year-old star after everyone "jumped" on the "let's hate Taylor" train, and he felt as though the "Holy Spirit took over" him when he listened to Taylor's single 'Look What You Made Me Do', which he became "addicted" to playing.

He said: "I felt that same hate that she was dealing with on an even bigger scale. Even Heidi says it's like the Holy Spirit took over me. I felt [the single] so passionately. And then the album was so freakin' unbelievable that it made even being a real fan so easy. I really did get addicted to playing 'Look What You Made Me Do' ... I said, 'God, I hope Taylor knows I'm out here really supporting her.'

"Everyone was throwing snakes on her comments because of something I knew in my heart that Taylor Swift would have never [done] ... She's the biggest star on the planet. She doesn't need to approve Kanye to say some trashy lyrics like that."

Taylor heard about Spencer and his wife Heidi Pratt's huge support of her and invited them backstage to one of her shows so she and her mother, Andrea, could personally thank the couple.

Speaking to Jenny McCarthy on her Sirius XM radio show, Spencer added: "I get an e-mail from her publicist - the angel from heaven, Tree - she's like 'Hey, we're gonna pull you back before the show.' She brought us into her dressing room before the show, and her and her mom were thanking me for my support ... She is the real deal.

"This girl deserves all her success. It was just super powerful for me as an egomaniac to see."

Last month, Taylor admitted she went through some "really low times" after she was branded a snake, but felt "strengthened" by the situation.

She said: "A couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on.

"And then a lot of people called me a lot of names on social media.

"And I went through some really low times for a while because of it.

"I went through some times when I didn't know if I was gonna get to do this anymore and I guess the snakes ... I wanted to send a message to you guys that if someone uses name calling to bully you on social media and even if a lot of people jump on board with it, that doesn't have to beat you. It can strengthen you instead."

In July 2016, Kim tweeted: "Wait it's legit National Snake Day?!?!?They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days! (sic)", along with several snake emojis.

The 37-year-old reality star also shared footage of her rapper spouse talking to the singer about 'Famous' - in which he also says he and the singer might have sex - prompting Taylor to hit back and insist she never "approved" the song.

Taylor and Kanye's feud began when he stormed the stage to interrupt her Best Female Video award speech at the MTV VMAs in 2009, because he thought Beyonce deserved the prize over her.
