The 28-year-old beauty still holds a candle for the former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star after they split earlier this year and she hopes one day they can rekindle their romance because she has no plans to date anyone but him.

She said: "If I was going to date anyone it would be Mario, he's a great guy. We have a great connection so maybe when things die down. I'm not planning on connecting with anyone else and if he does there will be trouble."

While the former 'Geordie Shore' star plans on being single for the "foreseeable future", she'd still love to have a man in her life because she gets "lonely" at times.

She told OK! magazine: "I've got no time so I'm going to be single for the foreseeable future.

"My life is fantastic but I'm 28 and sometimes I want a man to take me out, cuddle up with me - I do get lonely."

However, Vicky's declaration of love for Mario will no doubt raise some eyebrows as she revealed just last week that she's fallen for her best friend Alex Cannon.

She said at the time: "I've got a massive confession and bit of a dilemma. [...] I've got a best friend, who is a boy, and we've been best friends for about a year and a half, practically inseparable. We worked together at first, but then it grew to something more, and now I think I'm totally head over heels in love with him.

"There are plenty of lads that I could ruin stuff with. That I could go out with for six months and they could cheat, or I could do something wrong, and we'd fall out and never speak again. This is the one lad that I can't lose. I don't wanna lose him. And if it means keeping him as a friend, then I suppose I'll have to make do with that."

But that hasn't stopped Mario, 28, from hoping that he and Vicky will have a future together one day.

He said: "We decided remain friends, and it could happen in the future but at the moment we'll stay friends."
