Despite Mel B, aka Scary Spice, blabbing that there will be a full reunion with all five members - also including Geri Horner (Ginger), Emma Bunton (Baby) and Melanie C (Sporty) - Posh Spice has confirmed she will not be partaking in any performances or tours with the 'Viva Forever' hitmakers, though she would still like to "celebrate" with them "in another way".

Speaking to Radio France, the fashion designer said: "We do have a group chat. I do speak to all the girls. It would be lovely for us to do something to celebrate [the 30th anniversary] – a dinner or a lunch – and reminisce. But yes, it will not be any more than that."

She added: "I’m so proud of what I achieved with the Spice Girls but now, for me, it’s about empowering people through fashion and beauty. There have been lots of rumours about tours and performances, but that will not happen. But I’d love to celebrate with the girls in another way, just me and them."

Appearing on 'The Jennifer Hudson Show' recently, Mel teased: "I'm such a blabbermouth. I get told off all the time for announcing stuff that I'm not meant to announce.

"But what I can say is we're definitely working on something together - all five of us.

"And by me just saying that I'm probably going to get into trouble again."

Victoria hasn't performed with the group since the 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony at London Stadium.

However, the rest of the 'Say You'll Be There' group embarked on the 'Spice World Tour' in 2019, after Victoria declined to take part due to other work commitments.

Mel didn't give any more details about any plans for this year, but she did ponder the last three decades.

She added: "I was a Spice Girl at the age of 17. I'm old. I'm feeling old right now. But it is amazing that we've managed to kind of still stay friends.

"It's been 30 years. What you go through as a group... you are just welded together for life because you've been through such a crazy experience."
