Zoe Saldana says going to the supermarket is like a "road trip" as she hates being apart from her twin babies for any amount of time.

The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actress and spouse Marco Perego welcomed twins Bowie and Cy into the world in November and she finds it difficult being apart from the boys.

She said: "I'm attached to those boys, I'm attached to my family.

"My husband has been forcing me to go out. Even if we go pick up food, it feels like a road trip."

The 36-year-old beauty is "enjoying every minute" of being a parent and admitted she "missed" them after stepping out for the Oscar's Sistahs Soiree in Beverly Hills last night (18.02.15).

She told 'Entertainment Tonight': "I miss them. I want to go back home. I feel like they need me.

"It's a fun thing. Remember, it's very new for me, so I'm enjoying every minute of it."

It was recently claimed having the twins has brought Zoe and 35-year-old Marco even closer together.

A source said: "They are overjoyed with the love Cy and Bowie have brought into their life. Zoe and Marco have gotten even closer during Zoe's pregnancy and first few weeks with their baby boys.

"Marco has been such a loving supporting husband, helping Zoe around the house and taking care of her, giving her back rubs and a lot of sweet love.

"Everyone in Zoe's family really thinks he is a wonderful man."
