Made in Chelsea's Caggie Dunlop on singing, style and Spencer

As Made In Chelsea is set to hit our screens with for a second series and the first on DVD, we catch up with cast star Caggie Dunlop on singing, style and Spencer...

If you're yet to see the upper-class reality series Made In Chelsea then you're soarly missing a treat. The show follows a group of friends seeking their professional quests and personal conquests.

"It's an aspirational series about a group of friends and their lives professionally and personally and the relationships that are going on between each character. It's pretty interesting and dramatic to watch," 22-year-old Caggie Dunlop explains.

Much like other reality shows, it is the characters that make it worth watching and Made in Chelsea is no different. From the diamond heir Francis Boulle and his Swedish assistant Agne to aspiring actress Caggie and her supposed love interest Spencer Matthews.

"People can relate to each character in some way and so it comes down to that. That and they obviously find the lifestyle quite interesting to see because it's a window into a world that not many people get to experience perhaps," Caggie continues.

Despite the undoubtedly exciting lifestyle the cast, characters, actors, whatever the lovely looking, 20-something ladies and gentlemen are, it must be tough to have private moments caught on film?

"Occassionally is can be quite difficult but it's what we signed onto with the show and personally I'm a bit of an exhiitionist."

The pretty blonde even watches the show that catches her life on camera and, like the majority of her fans, the 'very emotional' last show in the series was her favourite: "It was done like a film, I enjoyed it."

In the last episode of series one saw Spencer and Caggie share a little kiss goodbye before she jetted off to New York again.

With the spirit of Ross and Rachel, the brooding Mr Matthews decided to go for it and dash after his love. Full of tension, suspense and the odd single tear, he missed her and was left dejected and alone at the terminal.

One of the first scenes in the series sees a nervous Caggie take to the mic for the very first time in public.

"When I talked to them about doing the show, they asked if there was anything I liked to do and I said I like to sing in private. They said, 'hey, how about singing on the first episode' and I thought 'why not?'"

"I was absolutely terrified...It did wonders for me in terms of confidence and stuff like that because if it wasn't for that, I would never have sang, ever," she admits.

With soft, soulful yet innocent tones to her voice, Caggie promises more of her music will be heard in the future and not just in the show.

The cast's flawless faces and fashion sense make it difficult to believe that there isn't a team of stylists helping them to look camera perfect.

"We just wear whatever we wear. No stylist, no makeup."

"I get my clothes from everywhere. I love Urban Outfitters. I don't really get that much designer stuff because I find it too expensive, unless it's second hand. Anywhere and everywhere really."

When Caggie's not filming or singing she enjoys a little 'me' time just as much as you or I. " I love the cinema. I go on my own."

"I don't like going with other people now, it's distracting and pointless," she giggles.

"What's the point in trying to bring someone along? If you want to see a film, then go and see it on you own!"

Though some ridicule the show for its staged feel or unbelievable 'will-they-won't-they' story lines, thousands find it addictive.

Full of laughter, love and lip locking, the second series has new characters and 'meatier' story lines which promise to entice and entertain their fans.

Made in Chelsea series one is out on DVD from 19 September and series two returns to our screens on E4, 10pm Monday 19th September.
