Pineapples are often associated with vacations or exotic locations so you may need to take a rest away from work or book a holiday to get some well-needed recuperation.
With this comes a sense of lack of obligation- a feeling one might experience when on holiday. So perhaps you are trying to escape your responsibilities or put something off for a little while before you face it. You may not feel obligated to anyone or anything at present and it might be a liberating experience but how long will it last before it catches up with you?
Pineapples are also indicative of an alternative location, so perhaps you need a change of scenery in your day-to-day life- a new home, a new job or indeed new people.

A fresh, ripe or sweet pineapple could mean that your life is full of joy right now- everything is going your way and you are feeling good.

If you were chopping up a pineapple then you may need to tackle something in your waking life piece by piece rather than trying to do it all at once if this approach has failed you so far.
A pineapple could be a representation of you. You may have a prickly exterior but once you gain the trust of someone, you are comfortable showing them your sweeter, softer side.
Pineapples are tough on the outside, so it’s possible you are dealing with someone or something that is proving to be quite tricky at present but you know once you get past the hardest point- it will be much easier from then on.

Within this train of thought if you are about to go on a holiday in the near future- have you already started to wind down? Do you feel that you are no longer responsible or obligated in your job because you are about to leave? You may think that something isn’t your problem because you won’t be here to deal with it and you are willing to let someone else tackle it for you. If you are finding something difficult to obtain right now, this could be why you dreamed about a coconut. It may take a lot of hard work to get what you want but it might be well worth it once you get there. It’s possible you are trying to figure out the answer to a question or solve a problem right now that’s ‘hard to crack’...
