If you were receiving a call in your dream, it’s possible you need to listen more carefully to someone in your waking hours. It could be that they are trying to tell you something important and you aren’t giving them the attention they deserve.

If you were making a call, then it’s possible you need to speak to someone about something urgently or get something off your chest.

When you hear a phone ringing in your dream, your subconscious may be telling you that there is an issue you need to address that you have been avoiding.

Pay attention to the type of phone in your dream- if it was a mobile phone then you may only do things when it’s convenient for you. You need to be mindful that what's appropriate for you is not always ideal for others. They could be missing out because the time you give is dictated by your schedule and doesn’t take into account their needs.

On the flipside, the fact you can make a call to someone from anywhere could be indicative of how available you are to others.

If you lost your phone in your dream, do you feel there is breakdown in communication between you and someone in your waking life? Is there someone close to you whom you feel distanced from at present? It can be reflective of emotional or psychological separation.

It's possible that you have an urgency to talk to someone or feel you need something quickly and can't get access to it or them.

Perhaps you sense a disconnection from what is important to you. It could be that there have been many distractions in your waking life recently. If so, it's likely that these difficulties have pulled you away from what you hold most dear.

Another point of view is that you feel you can't express your true emotions and be honest about how you're really feeling. Is there anyone holding you back from being yourself? Or is that person you?
