Our dreams can be focused on all manners of things, from pets to weather, to birthdays. Here are seven meanings that a birthday dream can have for your waking life.

Wish fulfilment

Usually, on our birthdays, before we blow out the birthday candles, we make a wish.

Given that this is a generic thing many people across the world do, some have said that one, or even more, of your long thought-about dreams may come true if you have dreamt of a birthday

If there is a birthday looming, whether it be of a friend, relative or partner, this may cause you to dream of the occasion, boosting your good luck.

Reunion

If you have dreamt of a birthday, then this could be a sign that you may come into contact with estranged family members.

Birthdays are normally events that consist of family members celebrating together, so this explains why you may see some relatives again you haven’t seen in some time.

Whether the reason for separation is due to personal issues or even the global pandemic, it may be a wonderful thing to get your family back together again.

Hidden talents

Another symbol of a birthday dream, could be that you are realising that you have unexplored traits within yourself.

While you may have been previously unaware of these traits or talents, now is the ideal time to dig deeper into them, and see what you can do.

Whether your talent is something artistic, like drawing, or something physical, like sports, you should explore this and enjoy any new opportunities that come your way.

A new start

A birthday is a celebration of moving forward in life, so your dream of such an event will mirror this.

You may decide to go for a promotion at work, move house, or make the choice to meet someone new.

You’re likely to be at a point where you feel able to make more life-changing choices, so (while thinking about these decisions), take this opportunity to change anything you want to in order to make yourself happier.

Feelings of envy

One of the only negative symbolic meanings surrounding birthdays, envious feelings can arise when you dream about birthdays.

If your dream sees someone else’s birthday in the spotlight, this could mean that someone close to you is living your ideal life, and you feel somewhat jealous.

However, try your best to either work a little harder towards your goals, or realise that someone else’s happiness does not diminish your own.

A bright future

Birthday celebrations within dreams are almost always a positive sign, so if you dream of such an event, you should wake up feeling rather pleased.

This dream can simply mean that you have a future to look forward to, so you can rest easy if you find yourself to be a little stressed.

Happiness and prosperity

Dreams of birthday might, as you may suspect, bring about feelings of joy and happiness for many people.

So, if you dream of a birthday, then prosperity, love and happiness are all likely to be in your future.

This can be a match to your personal, professional, or even love life, so keep an eye out for signs relating to these areas of your life.
