Aaron Sorkin is nursing a broken nose after a writing exercise went wrong.
The Social Network screenwriter had a visibly swollen and brusied nose when he turned up to a pre-Emmy Awards event in Hollywood on Friday.
He tells the Los Angeles Times: "I wish I could say I was in a bar fight, but I broke my nose writing."
The Oscar Winner explained he was staring into a mirror and reciting dialogue when he 'accidentally head-butted' himself.
