Davy Jones, one of the members of the 1960's band The Monkees, has spoken about he feels guilty for letting his rockstar lifestyle get in the way of him being a father.

As one of The Monkees, Jones found fame in the 1960's selling millions of albums before moving on to acting in the 1970's, but recently he has spoken about his lifestyle meant he missed precious moments of his childrens lives.

He tells Britain's Daily Mail, "I missed the school play. I missed the Christmas nativity. These are times when an entertainer works. But that doesn't mean the guilt ever goes away."

Jones' two eldest daughters Talia and Sarah, born in 1968 and 1971 respectively, to Jones' firest wife Linda Haines.

The star went on to have two more children with his second wife Anita Pollinger in the 1980s and is now married to Jessica Pacheco.
