Eva Mendes is desperate to land a role on Ricky Gervais' Extras - after she was turned down for a cameo on the hit TV show.The brunette beauty is a big fan of the comedy series, which features big celebrity guest stars in each episode - and was disappointed after the show bosses denied her a role.And now she is determined to appear on the sitcom, which is written by and stars Gervais as a struggling actor.When asked if she has any unfulfilled ambitions, she responds: "Yes, to appear in an episode of Ricky Gervais' show Extras."It's one of my favourite shows ever and they turned me down.
