Laurie Lands An O.B.E..... Hugh Laurie, the man behind grumpy TV doctor Gregory House, has been awarded one of Britain's top honours.The comic-turned-actor was made a member of the Order Of The British Empire (O.B.E.) yesterday (23May07).Queen Elizabeth II presented the honour to Laurie at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.As well as becoming the star of House, the 47-year-old actor is a beloved part of the English comedy set, having been a member of the Cambridge Footlights troupe, along with Emma Thompson and Stephen Fry.
