John Barrowman will be made a Doctor of Drama this summer in Scotland. The actor is know best for his role as Captain Jack Harkness in cult TV series Doctor Who. He will accept his honorary degree in July from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama graduate, singer Moira Anderson will be awarded at the same event. Actor David MacLennan and Opera singer Judith Howarth are also expected to be there receiving honorary degrees.
