Actress Kathleen Turner has thrilled audiences in Massachusetts with her stage-directing debutThe Romancing The Stone star is midway through a run of Beth Henley play Crimes Of The Heart at the festival. And Turner admits her directorial style owes a lot to filmmakers John Huston and Francis Ford Coppola, who directed her in the movies Prizzi's Honor and Peggy Sue Got Married respectively.The 53-year-old says, "I learned a lot from them - Huston and Coppola."Turner made her big screen debut in 1978 in Body Heat as the rithless Matty Walker, a film which is regarded to be one of the sexist films ever.In the 1980s turner had a string of hit movies including Romancing the Stone and The Jewel of the Nile with Michael Douglas. She teamed up with Douglas for a third time in 1989 for War of the Roses.She recieved an Academy Award nomination in 1986 for her role in Peggy Sue Got Married alongside Nicholas Cage. The award went to Marlee Matlin.

But rheumatoid arthristis, which she was diagnosed with in 1992, has restricted the actress.
